Hey Frank looking forward to listening to this episode. I think for getting your show to a wider audience that shorter bites do make since, I’m just not sure that 20 minutes is long enough. Part of your shows charm is your ability to jump off track with subjects and your comments on the various branching of your own thoughts. I think the 20 minute formula limits you on that aspect as well as seems a bit short as naturally you have to get up to speed and settle into an episode, which seems to take about a minute 45 seconds.
Question: Does it have to be 20 minutes? I think for you and your show something more like 23minutes 23 seconds would be perfect, or even 33 minutes, 33 seconds.
It would give you a little extra room to fill the show out. I can’t help but feel that the 20 minute version is not a complete visit.
I can see a lot of advantages of the shorter from, both for new listeners and for production, but can’t help but feel that 20 minutes is not the right number for you.
