Frank! The Overnightscape has always been a thing of coolness, but time has prohibited me from consuming it with regularity. I recently got a few simultaneous contract jobs that are chaining me to the desk 12 hours a day, so I thought it would be a good time to catch up. The last show I heard from you was in late 2005-early 2006 or thereabouts, so I grabbed a couple hundred or so of your shows this past week. Gigs of stuff, man! I’ve been listening to 3 to 5 shows a day, and I gotta say you create a compelling audio universe. It’s something special. It must suck the life right out of you. How do you find the time, with a full-time job and wife and everything? You should be proud. This is great entertainment. I won’t comment on any of the specifics because there’s just too much stuff going on with the OVERNIGHTSCAPE. It must be weird to find out your dad was a nude model, and his friend had a tail. I bet the friend’s name was SPINAL BIFF.
I got your email about your reunion with Mike Massatto, and I have an episode or two of that show lurking on the hard drive. Eventually, I will actually hear it…
Hey Frank! I’d just like to say I’ve tryed out your card game Shufflin’ Jamboree, and I think its a lot of fun. It’s surprising that the game hasnt been invented, or that it hasn’t cought on, because it really is entertaining. Maybe I’ll teach a few of my friends, and I won’t leave out your name. Hope the 600 for 600 count works out!
